The village of Ja Ra Yang, Putao District, Sumprabum Township, Kachin State, Burma (Myanmar), In the year of 2013, in this village the civilians fled to the IDPs camp because of the civil war. About 10 years later, the village has been carrying out gold mining operations using large machines. After about 10 years in the village, gold mining activities using large machines are still going on. This village is 18 miles far away from the Irrawaddy River. From January 2024, it was found that gold mining continued to working to the middle of the village.
